Owners notice the kit before they notice anything else. Standing in your yard on a cold morning, the difference between staff in matching, properly embroidered gilets and staff in whatever they own is the difference between an operation and a collection of people who work there.
What we make for yards
A narrow, deliberate range rather than a catalogue. Quilted gilets, insulated jackets, midlayers and waterproofs for the string. Polos and caps for the summer. Saddlecloths, paddock sheets and rugs carrying your colours. Boxed pieces for owners and for raceday.
Everything is embroidered. We do not print.
What it costs
We quote each yard rather than publishing a price list, because the number depends on your headcount, your size spread and which pieces you take. For a sense of scale, a working yard of twenty to thirty-five staff layered through the seasons usually lands between £2,500 and £5,500 excluding VAT, embroidery included. Smaller yards start well below that.
The one fixed price is the Mark, your one-off commission, at £150 to £350.
Lead times and minimums
No minimum order. One gilet is stitched to the same standard as a hundred.
Ten working days for your Mark. Fifteen to twenty working days for a kit-out from artwork approval. Longer through Tattersalls sales weeks and December, so January and February are the right months to sort the season's kit.
Start with the Mark
Before we stitch anything, your colours or crest are redrawn for thread, proofed at every size they will appear, and stitched out on the actual fabric. That sample comes to you in a box before you commit to a single garment.
Most suppliers treat this as a £20 setup fee. We treat it as the job it is. See the Mark.
Talk to us
Tell us the yard, roughly how many staff, and send your colours or logo in whatever form you have them — a photo of a rug is fine. We will come back with a price and an honest view on what you actually need.
